Register for upcoming events
Opening up opportunities for professionally organized events, coaching and a support
network for those participating in sport, registering with the Rai Sahab Council for Sport &
Education as a player gives access to the Player Registration System. Our system for
registering players is transparent, simple and inclusive. We strive to provide equal
opportunity to deserving players to register.

Registration Process
Players are required to provide accurate details during the Player Registration Process to
help facilitate smooth participation. The following details must be provided:
- Personal Information (name, age, contact details)
- FIDE ID (if applicable)
- Category Rating
- Events to Compete In
- Any Supporting Documents which may be Required.
Each registration is reviewed to ensure compliance with Tournament Guidelines to maintain
fairness for all players.
Code of Conduct
All registered players are expected to:
Adhere to FIDE and Tournament Rules
Respect the Arbiters, Opponents and Officials
Exhibit Sportsmanship and Ethics
Assist Young & Developing Chess Players
Our focus is on developing young talent. We provide opportunities for students to compete
by offering:
- Players compete within their age division
- Integrating Education with Chess at the School Level
- “Chess in Schools” program
- Developing Players Beyond Competition
Becoming a registered player isn’t solely about winning games, but also about discovering
who you are as an individual; developing discipline, resiliency, and being part of a
community. Our players participate in growing their decision-making skills, level of focus, and
building a high level of confidence; skills that will serve them well outside of the game.
When a player registers with the Rai Sahab Council, that player joins a movement that
places/value in excellence, inclusion, and the importance of lifelong learning.
