The Rai Sahab Council for the Advancement of Sports and Educational Development organizes several national and international sporting events with an emphasis on youth engagement and inclusivity, while also integrating education. The focus of our events is to develop competitive excellence within all participants by cultivating discipline, critical thinking skills, and building character.

Our Philosophy Behind Events

The foundation of our events is based on our belief that sports are an effective way to create social transformation. Our tournaments, coaching camps, and educational sporting projects promote the development of skills, provide opportunities for youth to reduce their dependency on technology, and channel their energies into productive learning. All events organized by the Council are directed to achieving equal access and opportunities for all and to inspire holistic growth in the entire community.

Events Standards

We adhere to FIDE and AICF regulations for all events organised by the council. All of our events are run by certified International Arbiters. Our events will have transparent prize distribution systems and will also ensure inclusive participation for players with disabilities. All players will be able to compete across various age divisions.
The Council has a history of providing quality organised events. From organising the largest FIDE Rated International Chess Festival in India to organising many district and interschool championships, the Council has set significant benchmarks in the way tournaments are organised.
